I am a massive fan of Christmas keepsake decorations We have loads we have made over the years graduating from salt dough, to homemade clay and then to air dry clay and even microwave clay. I love having something which we bring out each year to remind us of christmases past, plus they make the best gifts for grandparents and godparents.

I gathered up some of my favorite ornament keepsake crafts that you can make with children and cherish for years to come.
Before we start I want to share with you my top tip. Make sure you add the date somewhere on the ornament so you can look back and remember.

There really is something for every ability here and each one of them could be made using any of the clay’s. So if you don’t fancy making your own there is no shame in shop bought at all.
